Before you begin any lifestyle change it is important to look at what you want to get out of the changes you intend to make; your goals if you like. But these goals need to be achievable...keep them real.

If you have a certain body shape, then it is unlikely you will be able change the fundamentals of that shape. Sure you can strip the fat from the frame, but you can’t change the frame.

If you are a pear shape, by that I mean a shape that has bigger hips and bum, then embrace this shape and work with this shape. Don’t be unrealistically trying to achieve the unachievable. This leads to a life of misery.

This goes for you guys as much as the girls, if you are long and lean (like me), then you will never be Mr Muscles. Yes, I know you can increase your lean body mass, but if you are expecting to look like Sly Stallone in Rambo, forget it. You will be endlessly disappointed. Embrace your shape and work with it.
